Pest control in Chatham Township, NJ
|
Chatham Township includes detached homes, attached homes and apartment properties. When ants appear along a shared wall or in a common area, the service conversation may need both the occupant and the property manager. Explain the layout and where the trail keeps returning.

Give an association a specific problem to address.
For a managed community or business property, separate indoor sightings from insects observed only outside. Include shared entrances, maintenance rooms and any moisture issue near repeated activity. Identify who controls repairs and who can open the affected space. That gives an inspection a useful starting point without assuming every unit has the same problem.

Size alone does not identify an ant.
A clear photo and the location of the trail are helpful. Large ants near damaged or damp wood are worth identifying, but a foraging ant does not establish where a nest is. Mention any bait or spray already used so the next conversation includes that history. Watch the route before wiping it away. Note the recurring opening, cabinet or window area. A short description of the route can be more useful than a count of insects. Should the association contact you or should I? Either can start. Tell us who is responsible for the affected area and who can authorize work. Shared-space access can then be arranged with the right person. |
